Full Description

March 2003: Watching Brief on work to create a clear channel for navigation of the River Stour, recorded a timber and plank structure interpreted as staunch for maintaining water levels, believed to date from 18th century (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2003 (S2)
