Full Description

The main outer bank (c.30m north of the keep) was found to be of modern origin, producing C19/C20 pottery and metal objects to a depth of 1.90m.
The principal ditch (centred c. 15m to the north of the keep) also had modern finds of similar date in its uppermost (c.1m deep) fill.
