Full Description
Former (probably 1970's or 1980's) metal detector find of hoard of sixty Roman brooches in a variety of forms including enamelled disc brooches and bow brooches. Believed (by finder, the late (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)) to have been deposited in box . Found in grass meadow S of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). No other finds from field despite further detecting (S1) (apart from BA sword). Sold, present whereabouts unknown.
