Full Description

Site represents a Beaker scatter within a larger IA scatter (site LKH 014). Excavation prior to 1939 located over 400 sherds of Beaker pottery, `representing 25 different types of beaker', from an area circa 120 x 40 yards. Finds of combed & incised and rusticated pottery, two barbed and tanged arrowheads, scrapers and numerous worked flints (S1)(S3). Much of the material was found in close association with pits containing IA pottery (for details of the IA aspect see LKH 014).
Finds described as being in Cambridge Museum & IPSMG by Gibson (S2) but probably mainly in MIHLM.
Some of the pottery listed by Clarke (S1)(R1)(R2). For detailed description see (S3).
Within area of multi-period sites LKH 070.
Also grooved ware - see Neo.
