Summary

Preh flint scatter & metalwork found during detector rallies, 2004- 2007, including Iceni quarter stater, a large flaked axe, a La Tene III type brooch and part of a MBA side looped spearhead. Also Rom, Sax and Med.

Full Description

June 2004: Preh flint scatter found during detector rally. Includes scrapers, flakes, borers and blades. All classed likely to be late prehistoric site, probably late BA, early IA.
2005: La Tene III type brooch metal detected (C1 BC- early AD) - digital photo with NWHCM (S2).
2006: further finds (while detecting) include double notched flake, (silver or gold?) Iceni quarter stater, a large flaked axe (183 X 75 X 54mm) and a flint hammerstone/core? Details in S2.
2007: 3 flints and fragment of MBA side-looped spearhead - details and drawing in file (S2).
Also Rom, Sax and Med.
