Full Description

Scatter of coins and metalwork found metal detecting area around Rom road (BAY 014) (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). First group of finds, not seen by SAU, included coins (Claudius I - Valentinian) and bow brooch fragments. Report (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1).
Further finds of coins (Vespasian - Constantinian) and brooches including two enamelled disc brooches, a Colchester derivative and a spherical headed pin.
Further coins, C1-C4 and Colchester type brooch (S3)(S4).
Also Misc Med & PMed finds - see (S1)-(S4).
