Full Description

Scatter found metal detecting. Coins mainly C3 - C4 (up to Valentinian) including a denarius of Severus Alexander (222 - 235). Brooches include a hen (three-dimensional), colchester type and fragment of thistle type. Pottery sherds include flanged rim bowl and one possible tile fragment. Information through SAU Ipswich. (S1)
Fragment of late Rom buckle with dolphin heads, (Hawkes & Dunning Med Archaeol 1960, type II A)(S2). Also `nail cleaner' from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1)(S3).
Also 1A coin, a few Med finds. Further Rom finds to S (NAC 034) and NW (NAC 033).
