Full Description
Timber remains of duck cecoy pipe recorded in south side of Benacre Broad (when dry). Survey and photographic record in (S1) (S2).
Not mapped by OS in 1880s but shown on early 1900s map.
For earlier decoy pipe(?) on N side of Broad see BNC 075 & for record of decoy pipe built in 1880 see BNC Misc.
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2006 (S3).
