Full Description

Possible line of Roman Road from LMG 003 to WSW 036, part of road between Pakenham Fort and Icklingham (after OS plotting).
Line plotted on HER map adjusted to correspond with road line at Brockley Corner(and part of forest ride at West Stow) which seems a more likely route (note location of Hill of Health CUL 003 - possible Roman burial mound? and third-hand claims of Roman coins from garden of one of houses around TL836711).

March 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible section of Roman road on the alignment of this record is seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The possible section of road has been recorded as part of WSW 036.
