Full Description

1996: rapid survey of large oval earthwork by John Newman following report by(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). 80m E-W by 50m N-S (external, or 55m E-W X 35m N-S internal), up to 2m high by 4 to 5 m in width partly surrounding, and cut by, northern half of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Plan and details in (S1). Two slides in fille.
Confirmed as very large, tree covered, banks at least six feet high and fairly wide, existing in gardens of A(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Possibly roughly square in plan with sides at least 40m long where surviving. Recalled from 1940s but still said to survive (S2).
