Full Description
Scatter of metalwork mainly of Roman date but with some Medieval material as well.
Roman finds include 7 coins (3 stuck together), lozengiform plate brooch with eight outer lugs & enamelling, Colchester type two-piece brooch and Knife handle. NWHCM hold some digital photos.
Note: further finds recorded from this site, extending it further to E, in Portable Antiquities Database.
Finds area is in replanted, previously destumped, forest.
