Full Description
Fieldwalking by Janet Tacon between circa 1971 and 1985 (mainly 1975-6?) located large amount of pottery including at least 50 sherds Ipswich ware and at least13 sherds Thetford type ware. Also 1 Early Saxon? (S1).
Finder's reference was Blythburgh I (also described as 'Saxon Field').
An area to the SW of the field also described as Blythburgh IB (probably same as BLB 055) (S1).
