Full Description

Pottery kiln, coins, etc. Kiln circa 1m in diameter, 0.80m high clay structure with flue opening, found in a sewer trench. Pottery recovered from kiln and from a pit circa 10 yards to the W. Grey wares. Reported M R Campden (S1)(S4).
Previously recorded finds "Rom coins, urns etc found AD 1863" marked on OS map at TM 3732 5765 (S2)(S3).
1989: Rom loop terminal (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), similar to key handle (Colchester 1983, no. 5154) & finger ring found metal detecting. Also three C2 coins from area of BLX 002 (S5).
1990: Metal detector find of copper alloy loop terminal discovered. Probably Roman (S6).
