Full Description
1933: Ovate hand-axe found in two pieces, 38cm apart. Found by Moir's gardener while digging on his allotment on East side of Henley Road, immediately North of road leading to Grove Cottages. TM 161 456 is cited by Wymer (a pit on the 3rd edition OS map) but only allotments on Henley Road on the 1920s OS map appear to be at TM 161 464, which corresponds to above description.
