Full Description

Cumberland Mount, earthworks in Staverton Park (S1).
1910: Part excavation by W M Capp, written up by St George Grey. Excavation archive held on microfiche by NMR (R1).
Flints 4 scrapers, 3 cores, 2 cutting tools found 1972 - 1974. Reported by H Ferguson, M and S Shaw. Material retained by finder. Parish file mentioned on HER card, missing 25 July 1986. Flints also mentioned in 1910 excavation report.
Also Med pottery, Un earthwork.
