Full Description

Deer Park documented in 1339 & 1383, listed by Hoppitt (S1, R1).
Probably centred on TM495840, a roughly oval area to NE of Wrentham Hall (site of - WRE 008), including Wrentham Great Wood (WRE 016), Kitchen Wood (WRE 015), Savage Wood (HHS 010) and Benacre Wood (BNC 076) and W of Lodge Belt and S of Wood Lane. Immediately W of Benacre Park (see BNC 020).
Accuracy of plot not verified, extension into Benacre and Henstead with Hulver Street may be too far - needs checking against historical sources.
