Complete wooden splatcher/splasher (rectangular wooden 'over-sole' for walking across river silt) found on the surface of tidal estuary in Holbrook Bay (S1). Has wooden diagonal cross-form strengthening, fixed by wooden pegs (suggesting relatively early date) on underside and four perforations (for thongs to attach to feet). In very good condition.
