Full Description
1957: Sherds of grey and black ware, with finger tip decoration and applied strips. Also red glazed wares. Found near Brew House in an area of 8 square yards (S1).
1984/1985: Widespread and dense concentration of Med pottery sherds, probably representing series of sites down valley towards Hollesley kilns (HLY 001 & 002) between Manor Farm (Hollesley) and Brew House (Shottisham). Plotted area of site increased after (S2), June 1990.
Group of 3 buildings shown at TM 3403 4589 (named as belonging to Charles Allen) on William Haiward's map of Shottisham, 1631 (S3).
