Full Description

1969: Med pottery scatter, circa 300 sq metres in area, C13-C15. February 1988: Fieldwalking by R & J Burrows-Ellis, 10m x 10m area, 75 sherds C14-C15 pottery plus 2 PMed sherds (S1).
Close to undated earthworks in Grove Wood (BAW 030) & further Med scatter, BAW 038.
1994: Further pottery found by R Simper. Listed as 5 rims, 3 handles, 3 bases & 29 body sherds Med coarseware, C13/C14. Also 1 body sherd LMed glazed ware, 3 body sherds (C17/C18?) stoneware, 8 small slag fragments, 1 animal bone fragment, 1 fossil sharks tooth & 1 fragment fossilised wood (S2).
