Full Description
Four undated pits identified during a watching brief. Despite the lack of clearly diagnostic artefacts that would allow these pits to be dated to a specific period, the presence of burnt flint in three examples may indicate a Later Iron Age date, whilst their similarity in terms of size and the colour of their respective fills could be taken as evidence that all four are broadly contemporary (S1).
