Full Description

Founder's hoard: 7 socketed axes, 6 axe fragments, hilt and upper blade of sword (? Ewart Park type), sword blade fragment, 2 pegged spearheads, 1 misc object, 12 pieces of ? bronze cake. Found in a pot 8 inches high, consisting of 'Dark grey pottery full of white particles of Burnt Flint. Not turned on lathe'.
Drawings in file (?stolen Autumn 1981). Is this the same hoard as sf 3028? BM drawings need checking against Inventaria Archaeologia cards for 'The Felixstowe Hoard'.
