Full Description
Evaulation prior to the proposed development at Friston Lodeg Bungalow revealing only modern deatures and several small pits of dubious origin. At the very onset of machining it became clear that the topsoil and upper subsoil' around the existing bungalow had been disturbed at a relatively recent date. The absence of features within this sizeable window of excavation does suggest that the boundary of the AngloSaxon cemetery lies somewhere to the south or west of the development area (S1)
