Full Description
Scatter of pottery including handmade ESax, Ipswich ware and Thetford type ware in roughly equal quantities. Overlooks the Tang river, potential valley bottom peat deposits in adjacent Scotland Fen (S1).
1995: ?MSax pinhead and part shaft. Flattened spherical head, small rib collar. Punched ring and dot decoration on head. Details & sketch in (S3). Also iron ?blade fragment (date?). Metal detected from `close to BOY 011' (S3).
