Full Description

2014: Archaeological monitoring revealed a small number of abraded early to mid-Roman pottery sherds. It is likely that the area of this development is on the western edge of a Roman settlement site. A gaming counter made from a small Roma period sherd was recovered as a stray find (S1). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2014 (S2).
