Full Description

January 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Several undated linear ditch features and at least one possible ring ditch are visible as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S5). Many geological features were also showing as cropmarks in this area, and this has made it difficult to determine the extent of the archaeological features. It was also difficult to be confident about the possible ring ditch features, visible towards the centre of the field, since they were only visible on photographs that were taken at a very high level (S4), and these features have therefore been recorded with a note of caution.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 7th January 2015.
