Full Description
Roman Road (course of) - (part of Coddenham - Dunwich road) - Margary: Road No 340 (R1). 25 feet wide, gravel, side ditches, sectioned at Otley O11; visible here in ploughing (S1).
November 1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey in `Field 180'. No visible remains of Rom road noted. Finds of 3 Rom body sherds and 1 body sherd Thetford type ware, 4 body sherds Med coarseware and 1 flint flake were found on the field surface (S2).
