Full Description
Moat, occupied. Fragments of complex and yards (S1). `Extensive fragments of moats, so disconnected that it is difficult to trace their original course' (S1)(R1).
1973: Cannot be classified with certainty as remains of former moat (S1). 1977: Two arms exist of the moat... the W arm is 85m long, 2nd arm 30m long; average width 2.5-3.0m, depth 1m. There are no enclosure banks. The appendages include fish ponds & channels. Plan (S1)(R2).
