Full Description
A low density scatter of heavily burnt flints and pottery sherds was located over some 40 metres in this area. All of the pottery sherds were small and abraded. They were all recovered from the subsoil. No archaeological features were noted. The finds are 1 body sherd Roman greyware and 3 body sherds of Medieval coarseware. These finds probably relate to the known site (RAT016) which is a few metres to the west of the pipeline (S1).
