Full Description

Four silver sceattas (? C8)(S1)(R1)(R2). Probably the same as four sceattas found on the beach near Walton Castle - see Felixstowe Misc. The Woodbridge findspot and the classification as a hoard has always been doubtful & is questioned by Metcalf & Newman in a recent publication (S2)(S3).
