Full Description

Coin hoard, bronze, C4 (? up to Theodosius - perhaps a misreading of Theodara).
"Two urns containing Roman copper coins." (S1). For drawings of urns see (S2).
Vessel found, said to have contained nearly a bushel of coins (mainly Constantinian) by labourers in digging for coprolites (R1)(R3). Ten coins (circa 330's AD), donated to Ipswich Museum 1964. Saxon urn sherd possibly hoard container (see SUT Misc Sax).
