Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 15m diameter, with two parallel boundary ditches to the N (S1).
Fieldwalked as part of SE Suffolk Survey. Only 1 flint flake recovered from the area. S2
A ring ditch of unknown date and function is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on cica TM271442, Waldringfield parish. The ditch is circa 1.5 metres wide and encloses an area circa 15 metres in diameter. A similar ring ditch is visible circa 210 metres to the south-west. It is possible that both ring ditches are the remains of round houses of later prehistoric date, and are associated with the trackways visible in the immediate area (see NBN 007 and NBN 020). (S3-5)
