Full Description
St Peter's Church (Rectory).
Nave, chancel, W tower of brick (bears date of 1636), timbered S porch. `Lands of Roger Bigot - Leuetuna - a church with 8 acres' (S1).
"It is difficult to date this building, which may well be quite early and possibly of 12th-13th century origin. Most of the windows are in the Perpendicular style of the 15th century". "The western tower which is rectangular and not square, has diagonal buttresses at its western corners and is built entirely of red brick" (S2).
