2019: A community fieldwalking survey was undertaken with volunteers from Rendlesham Primary School, led by University of East Anglian and SCCAS as part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund community archaeology project Rendlesham Revealed: Anglo-Saxon Life in south-east Suffolk . A high quantitiy of post-medieval brick, tile and roof tile were recovered, as well as a small amount of post-medieval and Victorian pottery. Six Later Prehistoric worked flints were recovered, including 1 primary flake, 1 secondary flake and a possible scraper. Two finds possibly date to the Roman period, including a possible piece of imbrex and a sherd of pottery which could either be Roman or medieval. One pottery body sherd is of medieval coarseware dating to 12th-14th century (S1).
