Full Description
October 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An undated mound is seen as an earthwork on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The mound can be seen as a low earthwork on the visualised lidar data and is partially seen as an earthwork on the aerial photographs under a tree. The mound is approximately 25 meters in diameter and it is possible that this feature may relate to a Bronze Age Barrow. The mound is in close proximity to a further possible Bronze Age Barrow (WRW 059) and a scheduled barrow (WSW 013) to the west. The mound is also in-between two sections of probable post medieval boundary bank to the north and south (WSW 049). It is also possible that this feature may be natural in origin. The mound is recorded on the Frist Edition Ordnance Survey Map (S3).
