Summary

A possible ring ditch is seen as a soilmark on aerial photographs. The feature most likely relates to a former Bronze Age barrow. The ring ditch is in close proximity to two possible Roman or medieval enclosures to the south (WRW 039) and Wordwell medieval settlement remains to the west (WRW 003).

October 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible ring ditch is seen as a soilmark on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature most likely relates to a former Bronze Age barrow. The ring ditch is in close proximity to two possible Roman or Medieval enclosures to the south (WRW 039) and Wordwell medieval settlement remains to the west (WRW 003).
