Full Description
June 1996: Surface collection, from smallish area, of crudely worked flints from areas of poor crop growth. One patinated (Mesolithic?) bladelet, rest (circa 20 flints) mostly unpatinated and crude, including one core. Probably late prehistoric (Late Bronze Age - Iron Age?)(S2). A linear area of very poor crop growth, 2-3m wide and parallel to field boundaries, was observed in the field (S2), (S3).
Formerly recorded as CAM MISC
