Full Description

Copper alloy cross. Found in 1977 with metal detector, 6 inches deep on E bank of River Dove, probably dredged material. Beside ? ford. Possibly C12-C13 copy of C10-C13 Byzantine original but probably modern copy for Turkish tourist trade (S1).
