Full Description

1993: Prehistoric Finds and features from excavation (S1-S5).

1993: Finds - Pottery: (S6)(0028, 0036, 0037, 0061) ~16 fragments of pottery, predominantly Beaker, plus Neolithic and possibly Medieval ware fragments. Beaker ware decorated with comb-stamps and fingernail rustications. Neolithic decorated with interior rim fluting characteristic of Grimston ware.
Finds - misc: Quern/millstone (0005); lead piece (0032); baked clay, tile and brick (0028, 0029, 0031, 0030)
Finds - flint: (S6)(0023, 0029, 0045, 0046, 0061) 1x core, 5x flakes possibly Mesolithic / Neolithic and 4 natural pieces (S6).
