Full Description

Scatter of pottery, coins, brooches etc.
Metal detected finds: 163 coins C1-C4 (predominantly mid C3 to circa AD 378); 38 brooches; bracelet fragments, rings, pin, bronze duck, seal box lid, pin with male head (S1).
Pottery including samian, ? Oxford mortarium, tile (R1). Details in parish file.
Mapped extent of site enlarged April 1990 (CP).
