Full Description

St Mary's Church. Nave, chancel and unbuttressed W tower. EArly English chancel with some C19 work. Also Decorated or Perpendicular windows. In jambs of E E lancet two painted figures, probably originally C13, but completely re-painted in 1850 (S1).
November 1970: `A stone coffin with sculptured lid was found near the surface in the churchyard a year or two ago... it is thought that the coffin dates from the C14 or C15' (S2).
