Full Description

The cropmark of a probable medieval and post medival farmstead to the north of LIttle Rookwood Farm can be seen on aerial photographs. The site consists of at least three rectilinear enclosures arranged around a surviving pond. Access to the farm was from the north-east via a curving track defined by two parallel ditches which represent an earlier course of Mill Lane. The farmstead is surrounded by the cropmarks of field boundary ditches some of which cut across the enlcosures and the trackway.
