Full Description
Pre 1936?: Various flint implements found on or near this area, including Acheulean hand-axe, large quartzite flake, Solutrean type implement?
Also Neolithic Flint axe, edge ground, white with grey patina, found on Hog Highland near Ipswich
'Late Bronze Age (pegged?) socketed bronze spear-head' in Ipswich Museum from Hog Highland, Greenwich Farm, Ipswich.
(S1-S5)
White and Pettitt (S6) note that all claimed "Solutrean" examples in Britain are likely Earlier Upper Palaeolithic.
