Full Description

Circa 1978-1985: Med metal detected finds (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) include worn Edward I penny and two Henry III short-cross pennies.

Brooch fragment. Colchester derivative hinged pin type. Also silver denarius of 39 BC and undated Roman bronze coin metal detected on field.

Three seals metal detected (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) - bronze pointed oval, virgin & child with legend `+AVE MARIA GRAC' (Hail Mary); bronze seal, two people, legend `IE SUI SEL DE AMUR LEL' (I am a seal of love), and lead seal, eight pointed device, legend `+SIGIL … EEANCULE' (personal seal, probably 13th century).
