Full Description

Scatter: pottery, metal working debris, some tile (roof and box). ? Near the line of road to Long Melford.
Bronze slag and debris; lead fragments. Pottery including samian, Nene Valley, shell gritted and ? West Stow wares.
Probable late C1 - early C4 range.
Site may be more extensive - Rom sherds marked at TL 979 494 and Rom and EIA sherds at TL 9808 4935 on IPSMG map.
