Full Description

S of Chapel St Farm, ring ditch, circa 30m diameter. Part of a group of nine ring ditches, SBC 001-008 & 016 (S1-S3)(S5).
1981: Site under arable - no artefacts noted, nor faint mound (S4). 1989: Replotting of APs suggests ring ditch at TL 7315 4307 not 7318 4307 as formerly recorded - now part in scheduled area & part out!
1990s (?): site deep-ploughed by owner, (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), according to English Heritage (Ian Millar) (S6).
Now (2008) under Farm Management plan and reverted to grass (Will Fletcher).
