Full Description
Moat. Two sides, irregular, occupied.
No moat shown on Thomas Warren's map of 1739 though large house 'in Mr Nunn's occupation belonging to Mr Jos: Newton' is shown on south edge of Gurny's (later Gulling) Green(BKY 016). A further house is shown to the east on the south edge of green (S1).
July 2004: Area rapidly surveyed identifying 'toft', and green edge boundaries (S2).
HER amended to include 'toft' area and site of former house mapped by Warren.
Note windmill mapped in this area by Hodskinson - enterred under BKY 013 (too far south?).
