Full Description

Coin of Claudius II, AD 268-270, found in garden (S1).
April 1994: (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) & assistant (builders) reported finds of lots of Roman coins (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s))(S3).
Also Sax (scramasaxes).
11/01/1996 - Monitoring of surface clearance and trench digging associated with extension revealed c.100mm thick surface with Rom pottery and animal bone but no unstratified finds suggesting a Rom settlement was close, but not dense. S4
