Full Description

Bronze brooch, Colchester derivative (with double-pierced lug) type, broken. Found metal detecting (S1). Situated just N of cropmark complex Chelmondiston 004.
Also a part of a copper alloy figurine of Mercury - solid cast leg with projection for joining to ?body (?made of another material) and two coins (early C4).
1991: Also few sherds Med pottery - see (S2). Further coins include an irregular Claudius I (AD 49-61), Antoninus Pius and up to mid C4 (S3).
