Full Description

Possible remnants of rectangular moat and subsidiary enclosure or ponds. Isolated location. Occupied (S1).
198810: Scatter of Med pottery reported as located directly to S of moat during fieldwork by John Newman (S2).
Described as "island & pond" on Tithe Map. Only parts of ponds now remain but Tithe Map shows four sides wet & empty island (S3). Note no mention of pottery in (S3) although scatter to E - GRU 014.
