Full Description
Large rim sherd of Ipswich ware in good condition. Found in soil removed from foundation trench during construction of house in circa 1983 by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Derived either from 'good surface soil up to two feet in depth' (situated on site of allotment gardens on OS map (S1)) or subsoil/subsoil feature (S2).
